I wish I could give Collette more than 5 stars on everything, and that’s rare coming from me. Firstly, we did our homework before committing to Collette as our Seller’s Agent. There are a few other Agents / Real Estate teams on Zillow that appear to have amazing reviews and client experience for Brookhaven. When we asked friends, neighbors, and colleagues to share their experiences with each of the top Agents in Brookhaven, Collette shined above the rest. Our experience was no different. She listened and truly understood what was important to us in the process of selling our home, educated us (first-time sellers!), and always had our back. We were initially skeptical about listing home with an Agent in the first place (we bought without an Agent) because of the expense of commission. On the other side of the process, we are without a doubt 100% sure, our home sold for A LOT more money than we could have ever sold it ourselves or a second rate real estate company could. If we had sold it ourselves, we wouldn’t have come out with nearly as much as we did even after paying commission. Collette was worth every dollar. Along with pricing and marketing our house perfectly, I believe her greatest strength is negotiating. As a Seller, you realize there could be a point of indifference for your Agent, where his/her commission only changes only slightly but could be the difference of ten thousand dollars on your net outcome. Not for Collette. She negotiated perfectly to get the outcomes that were important for us and for many things she’d never see any commission on (furniture, time, etc.). Her team is great and make the process of selling your home as painless as possible. I’d recommend anyone looking to sell their home list with Collette and would be happy to share more details of our experience as a reference to anyone considering Collette. We’ll definitely be using her when we’re ready to buy again!
